Our products are made by hand to the highest level of accuracy and quality, as represented by our Cubi logo engraved into the base of each item. Although we will use the highest standard of making, finishing and quality assurance techniques, as wood is a natural material, little flaws in the grain are sometimes unavoidable and seen by us as part of the character of nature.

Cubi products have been designed to ensure as little impact on the environment as we can and a minimum amount of waste. Cubi products are small, therefore requiring a minimum amount of material, and made by hand in batches of five using responsibly sourced sustainable Plywood, which we buy from a local supplier as well as using some recycled offcuts from local furniture makers.  

The collective of barns, of which our workshop is one, is very environmentally conscious with most of our energy coming from our solar roof panels and winter heat from the offcuts of the green woodwork courses on sight .
